EASY & QUICK CHRISTMAS TREATS!

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah!

today's entries is about 3 quick and simple recipes.

 

1. Choc-coconut Christmas balls
2.  Herb Twist
3. Rocky Road slice

 

 

CHOC-COCONUT BALLS

 

Ingredients

• 250g packet plain biscuits
• 180g block dark chocolate (eg. milk or white choco will do)
• 395g can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 ½ cups desicatted coconut
• 100g red glace cherries, chopped ( it can be any fruit, make sure it's dry, sultanas, nuts)

Method

• line a large plastic container with baking paper. measure & chop cherries (other fruits). measure an place coconuts onto a plate. open a can of condensed milk. crush biscuits until it resembles fine breadcrumbs (not to fine!) transfer to a large bowl.
• roughly chop the chocolate, place it into a microwave safe bowl then melt the chocolate and stir it make sure there's no lumps of chocolate. (be careful, the bowl does become HOT)
• add chocolate, condensed milk, ½ cup of coconut and cherries and also the biscuits crumbs. mix to combine.
• place the other remaining coconut into a bowl, roll the mixture into a ball and rolled it into the coconut. repeat the remaining mixture.

OK here we go again. Thinking the unthinkable. Maybe or maybe not. Please don't get your hopes high. InshaAllah kalau Ade rezeki :-) I don't want to brag, and I don't want people to ask me or my mom nor my dad whether we are staying here for another 3 years. People people, we do not have the answers. Let me give my dad's opinion on this, he would be more than happy to continue and finish his studies for PHD :-) ma said that she would be there for him even if we have to stays here for another 3years. Cause that's the wive jobs. And my opinion, if I stay here, I would probably graduate a.k.a finish schools go to prom/formal what ever they call it. I don't want to do does things... 

I just want to go back home. :-) please don't get me wrong, Australia is a beautiful country. I love Australia as much as I love Malaysia right now, I have Made good friends here, they all awesome *accept 2-3 people that are racist and a bit cuckoo .. the point is, I want to finish my studies in Malaysia. I wanna graduate besides my old bff. I miss them so damn much.. you know sometimes people need to hear about other's opinion. I think I need to perform istikarah prayer and hoping for the best answers. IF WE WERE TO stay here, that would probably be the best for us, not everyone gets to studies abroad right? And I really really want to make this up with my parents. I want to study real hard , Imma gonna go real hard on my self, cause next year would be ma senior year and trust me schools gonna knock us real bad! 

And I think we desearves it, playing around is not our thing no more. Studies would be our HUSBANDS/WIVES. And if we don't, maybe the rezeki is not on ourside this time :-) maybe its for the best! InshaAllah :-)

today my family and I went downtown for our passport picture taken. dad said that the photo is for our new visa extension I.O.W (in other words), we are staying in Ossie for a longer period.. oh boy oh boy, i know it's not that bad. but i will miss my family and friend in Malaysia. but i think Malaysia is in a bad condition, there's accidents, robbery, killings and bad economic currently happening in Malaysia. i mean, isn't it bad enough that most Malaysian are poor, and even a person that earns RM 6,000 a month could't buy a house. what about all the students and elderly that don't have cars and the only transport they have is the public transportation ? ? ? huh? how bout them? how bout the folks in villagers that requires more money just to support their family education and also their lifestyles? Allahu, help us all ... for the first time, i think i prefer to stay in Australia .. ( :( )

however this post is not about that problem, this post is about enjoying the perfection of sun flowers! they are so pretty, and it is about time for them to be harvest. so it's kinda our last chance to em this summer :)

What are you guys up to today? I am actually heartbroken with the calamity that a couple of states in Malaysia is currently facing flood.

Even though, I am currently in Koala's land, but that doesn't stop me from helping the folks that needed my help and your helps. As a Muslim, Allah S.W.T told us to help people in need, in anyway you can. Money ; Foods ; Place to sleep ; Clothes ; and also Duas :) " Dua senjata orang mukmin " May Allah help the people all over the world :)

Allhamdulillah, I have the opportunity to go to the most peaceful place in Queensland. Lake.Cress.Brook it is not my first time, i have been here before but only for survey. so today, my family, aunt Hana's and also aunt Milin's were planning to came here for BBQ along with fishing. the view was so peaceful, it was astonishing!

apologies for being quite absent in the blogsphere for the entire month last November. I kinda lost my mojo to update. But fret not, for I am back! and for ma latest update, that was supposed to be publish on the 1st November, but my internet stuffed up, and i had to save it *buat tempoyak, sampai la, le ni baru nk publish... so i apologies for that. today's update is about Malaysian Fload. currently there's a disaster happen in Kelantan ; Pahang ; Johor ; Terengganu etc. According to the state disaster operations room, the number of evacuees in Pekan, Maran, Rompin, Kuantan and Jerantut now numbered 11,721 as at 8am.

Kuantan was hit the worst with 4,148 victims, followed by Rompin (3,615), Pekan (2,716), Maran (1,179) and Jerantut (63).

Along with the major floods and non-stop rain, Kuantan folks were also now toughing out the disaster without electricity. and as the people are struggling to get to the safer ground Malaysian state mayor, are having a debate in the " court room " *not sure, making a decision what they wanna do.. for crying out loud! help them every way you can! give em food, boats and safe place for them to sleep! i don't understand, they having a discussion instead of helping?, the clock is ticking and people could lost their loved ones as u speak! just think about the kids, the elderly, the animals & the disable people.. Ya Allah, sometimes we don't realise how stupid we are. :/

BBQ-ING ?!!!

quick updates about yesterday.. we had a BBQ party kin of thing, at aunt Ramiza's house. it's actually uncle Aziz going away party.. he finishes his studies so he'll be going back to Malaysia. Congrats on that! :) so we all were there, eating dessert and Nandos chicken and also ice cream and lastly BBQ ... it was fun actually, mom made this "Malaysian Kuih" i don't know what do ya called it, and I've made Rocky Road Slice. Allhamdulillah, everyone seems to like my Rocky Road :) ;) eheheeh
